Golf Cart Rental Policy

Golf carts may be operated by individuals possessing a valid state-issued driver’s license. Please note that children are not permitted to operate a golf cart under any circumstances, and those with learner’s permits must be accompanied by a licensed driver. Renters of golf carts will be held liable for any damage incurred to the cart or any other property, as well as for any personal injury resulting from the use of the rented cart. Rented carts are strictly prohibited from being taken off club property. Caution is advised when crossing public streets or navigating the parking lot. Additionally, carts should maintain a distance of at least 10 yards from all tee boxes and greens. Any unsafe or improper operation of a cart may lead to the suspension of both cart and playing privileges. Electric and manual pull carts must be kept off the tee boxes and greens at all times.

Approved Private Golf Cart Policy

Private golf carts, similar to the City’s official fleet, may be utilized by obtaining either a Daily or Annual Private Cart Pass. The annual pass is specifically issued for a designated private cart at the time of purchase and is subject to the following conditions:

1. Usage is restricted to immediate family members only, with names required at the time of purchase.
2. At least one of the designated family members must be present on the cart during its usage.
3. Cart drivers must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license; learners’ permit holders must be accompanied by a licensed driver.
4. Should only one named individual be present, they may permit one additional non-family member to ride at no extra charge.
Please note that all golf cart rental policies and rules apply equally to private carts. This policy may be amended at any time without prior notice.

Alcohol Policy

All alcoholic beverages consumed on the golf course property must be obtained through our State Licensed Concessionaire, in accordance with state law. Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate removal from the premises. Alcoholic beverages are exclusively available from the golf course concessionaire. Any golfer found in possession of alcoholic beverages not purchased through the designated concessionaire will be in violation of state law, and such beverages will be confiscated. These golfers may also be asked to leave the property. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Errant Golf Ball Policy

The City of American Falls regrets any and all personal injuries or damage to personal property caused by errant golf balls. The risk of stray golf balls is an inherent part of the sport, making it impossible to completely mitigate. Accordingly, the American Falls Golf Course and the City of American Falls assume no responsibility for injuries or property damage caused by such incidents.
